Location: We are steps from the Wall St. subway station in Lower Manhattan. Close to Battery Park and the Statue of Liberty.
Housing: AIA staff can help students choose a dormitory stay or homestay in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Jersey City or Staten Island.
Start Dates: Every Monday for our Intensive Conversation Program. Available in July and August only.
Features: Don't spend a couple of days in New York! Why not spend your summer in the most-exciting city in the world: The Big Apple or New York City. Our school operates only in July and August for short-term travellers on tourist visas. Classes run from Monday to Thursday leaving you lots of time to enjoy New York City. Our staff will show you some amazing restaurants, bars, clubs and events in New York. You can study from 1 week to 8 weeks.
You will study for 4 hours per day, Monday to Thursday. There are no classes on Friday. It is an excellent time to travel and enjoy New York City. The focus of the program is to improve your Pronunciation, Conversation and Listening skills.
9:30am to 11:15am - Pronunciation Class
We will work on reducing your accent through various interactive activities. You will learn about Intonation and Rhythm, Understanding the Schwa and Blending.
11:30am to 1:30pm - Conversation Class
Students are given a Speaking Test on the first day and placed in the best level. Each day you will study with a different conversation teacher with a different conversation topic. This gives you an opportunity to learn many different conversation styles.
Study in Toronto or New York
Study in both New York and Toronto with this program. You can study for 1 to 4 weeks in New York and 1 to 4 weeks in Toronto in the exact same program. So why not study for 2 weeks in New York and 2 weeks in Toronto? Enjoy the two greatest cities in North America!

Balboa City School is located in Escondido, a beautiful, safe suburb of San Diego.
International Students live with homestay families and they are transported by school bus to Balboa. Balboa City School is moving into a brand new facility in June 2016 that will house up to 200 students. California is an amazing place to study.
Conditional Acceptance Program to many different universities in the United States

Location: We are near the University of Texas. Just minutes away from the Capitol and downtown.
Housing: AIA staff can help students choose on-campus dorms or apartments nearby.
Start Dates: Every Monday for our Intensive ESL Program. University Preparation Program starts every 15 weeks.
Features: Over 200 of our students have gone on to study at US colleges and universities, including Austin Community College, University of Texas, Texas Tech, MIT, Purdue, University of New Mexico, University of Illinois, Boston Architecture School, University of Utah and more.

Intensive English: 18 hours/week
Students study a combination of Academic English and English for Communication with a focus on fluency and accuracy.
Optional electives: Film Studies, Pronunciation, Research Papers, Bonus Conversation and TOEFL preparation classes are available for High Intermediate and Advanced students.
TOEFL waiver programs are available to a number of American universities.
Semi Intensive English: 15 hours/week or less
